Worked example: preserve a quoted field

The comma inside the quoted product name belongs to one cell; it is not another column. Map SKU to Value, Product to Label, Quantity to Quantity and Format to Format. This single source row creates three Code 128 outputs encoding ASSET-0042, with Cable kit, black as the label. CSV reports escape formula-like cells for safe spreadsheet opening, so report text may differ from the encoded value.

Common questions

Can a CSV make QR codes as well as barcodes?

Yes. Use Auto or map a supported format column, including QR and Code 128.

Can a row create multiple labels?

Yes. Map a whole-number Quantity column within the browser-safety limits.

Can exported reports trigger spreadsheet formulas?

Cells beginning with spreadsheet formula markers are neutralized in the CSV report so opening it does not execute them as formulas.
